We’re stepping inside the Makerspace at Arredondo, where third graders are bringing creativity and coding together through micro:bit-powered robotics.

We recently celebrated 15 incredible finalists representing Tempe Elementary Schools at the 37th annual Tempe Diablos Charities Excellence in Education Awards.

It only takes one spark to ignite deep curiosity. Just ask Arredondo fourth grader Charlie Fusco, who discovered an interest in bees after a recent class field trip to the Desert Botanical Garden.

Tempe Elementary is honored to have been named the #1 Elementary School District for the third year in a row in 2026 and voted in the Top 7 winners for Best Places to Work in 2024 by Arizona's largest and most comprehensive business opinion poll. Tempe Elementary Schools has also been named as a Best Communities for Music Education district by the NAMM Foundation for the last seven years.
